This unique 5 day educational summer day camp in Milwaukee, WI provides many exciting opportunities for children to learn in-depth about the world of marine mammals! Campers ages 7-9 will experience the journey of a lifetime as they dive into the world of marine mammal care and training with the help of our flippered friends. Each day explores a different theme including seals and sea lions, animal training, and conservation. Campers will experience discussion groups, games, art projects, snack time, new exhibit tours, and daily interaction time with the seals and sea lions of Oceans of Fun. Our resident junior trainers are able to feed, interact with, and participate in training sessions enjoying loads of fun at our sea lion pool!

For children between the ages of 7-9 who may not be quite ready for a full week of camp, come join us for our Sea Lion Explorer Mini Camp, a condensed version of our 5 day Marine Mammal day camps in Milwaukee, WI. Campers will spend 3 fun-filled days immersed in everything marine mammals!  Our animals will help campers learn all about seals and sea lions, their care and training, and ways they can help to make a difference for these animals in the wild.

Ever wonder why animals do the things they do?  How do animals communicate?   A male sea lion will use his body posture to defend his territory, while a female sea lion will vocalize to her pup in order to find them on a crowded beach.  In this 3 day Animal Behavior Camp, campers will explore the world of animal behavior through observation and hands on learning! These kids day camps in MIlwaukee, WI give children ages 7-9 a glimpse into the world of marine mammals as well as the opportunity to gain knowledge and apply it throughout the zoo as they learn about animal behavior, adaptations, and conservation. Our resident Marine Voyagers are able to feed, interact, and participate in training sessions all while enjoying loads of fun at our sea lion pool!

If you are between the ages of 10-13 and your true interest is in animal training, our 2 day Animal Training camp program in Milwaukee, WI will immerse you in the training techniques we utilize with our marine mammals.  We use positive reinforcement training which will be valuable as you practice and perfect training at home with your own pets!  In depth discussions and hands on learning allow kids the opportunity to learn hands on about marine mammal care, training, and conservation.

Our Nautical Navigator summer camp for 11-15 year olds focuses on the incredible adaptations that our seals and sea lions possess to survive both on land and in the water.  Over the two days your camper will be joining us, they'll spend time on land learning about our animals, our facility, and exploring adaptations. This program is the only summer camp that concludes with campers entering the water on our wet dock to meet one of our animal ambassadors in their environment!
