Sea Lion Splash
Oceans of Fun, Sea Lion Splash program is a 2 1/2 hour marine mammal interactive program designed to educate as well as allow children hands on time with our flippered friends. During this one of a kind interactive program we discuss the following topics: what makes up a mammal, marine mammal characteristics, animal adaptations, habitats, what our sea lions eat, and how & why we train animals. Throughout the educational discussion children will play interactive games including; sea lion dress up, pollution, and training games. Children will also be given the opportunity to bucket the sea lions fish and spend time interacting with our seals and sea lions. The animal interactive experience will allow kids to feed an animal as well as apply the training techniques they have learned.
The children are able to participate in our 3:00 Oceans of Fun seal and sea lion show. Parents and family that wish to purchase a show ticket will be allowed to observe this show in a designated area of the bleachers. During the show parents and family will be able to take photos and videotape their children interacting with our one of our animals. After the show our educator will escort the children and parents out to our Sea Lion Shoppe to conclude our program where you can view and purchase photos of your children interacting with our animals. We have a limited number of reservations per program and our summers do fill up quickly.
